Before you finally choose your knitting example, take time to knit a work sample of your knitting example – however it isn’t this work sample, which you knit normally to measure the numbers of stitches in breadth and the rows in heightin centimeters. Only so you can compose your own opinion about the possibilities and the effect ofthe example after your form of knitting – especially if it’s a model of your phantasy. This sample wants to help you to decide a considered choice and to be familiar with the form of working of your example, before you begin with the real knitting.
Broken through pattern 1
The number of stitches is dividable by 4 plus 3, plus 2 stitches on the edge. 1st and 3rd row: 1 stitch on the edge, * 1 stitch left, 3 stitches right, constantly repeat from *, 1 stitch left, 2 stitches right, 1 stitch on the edge. 2nd and 6th row: Knit up all stitches as the appear. 4th row: 1 stitch on the edge, knit together 2 left stitches, 1 foldover, 1 stitch right, * 1 foldover, knit together 3 left stitches, 1 foldover, 1 stitch right, constantly repeat from *, 1 stitch on the edge. 5th and 7th row: 1 stitch on the edge, 2 stitches right, 1 stitch left, * 3 stitches right, 1 stitch left, constantly repeat from *, 1 stitch on the edge. 8th row: 1 stitch on the edge, * 1 stitch right, 1 foldover, constantly repeat from *, 1 stitch on the edge at last, 1 foldover, knit together 2 stitches left, 1 stitch on the edge.
