Hems

Please make your choice:

Before you finally choose your knitting example, take time to knit a work sample of your knitting example – however it isn’t this work sample, which you knit normally to measure the numbers of stitches in breadth and the rows in height in centimeters Only so you can compose your own opinion about the possibilities and the effect of the example after your form of knitting – especially if it’s a model of your phantasy.

This sample wants to help you to decide a considered choice and to be familiar with the form of working of your example, before you begin with the real knitting.

Stretchable hem for corded examples of hems 1/1

rounding

The 3 pictures show overhead the 3 coordinated passes for this hem. Firstly knit with needles, which are 1mm fixer as this, which you like to knit the corded hem, casting on the half of the stitches + 1 (easy noose casting on, page 14) and knit 6 rows even right. Now pick up the same number of stitches -1 with the smaller knitting needle from the casting on of this work (without knitting there). Currently combine this knitted fabric that the both knitting needles were adjoined (even right lie outside). Knit with the 2nd smaller needle of the work as follows, beginning at the front side: * Knit 1 S from the thicker needle right. Knit 1 S left from the smaller knitting needle (which lay in the back). Repeat it from *, ending with 1 S from the thicker needle. All the stitches are on a smaller knitting needle and now you can knit the corded example 1/1 of a hem farther.
