Yarn position: The yarn comes from the ball to your
left hand, slides under the little finger, over the ring
finger, under the middle finger, over the outstretched
trigger finger and leads from the back to the knitting work.
A distinction is drawn between right and left stitches. On the right knitting youpierce from the front into the stitch and pull the yarn from the back side to the front side, the left knitting it is contrary. If the knitting work is a kind of cloth- or stripe-like you use two needles and reverse the knitting each time at the end of the needle. If you want to knit a circle then you need 4 or 5 needles or a round knitting needle, which consists of two needles joint through a nylon wire. If you use a play, then the stitches will be disposed on 4 needles. The 5th will be used to cast off the stitches. On a circular knitting needle the stitches will be pulled off continuously, whereby a tubular shaped knitted fabric results. Because of the variety of right and left stitches, lessening and rising, changing’s, crossing the stitches and other kinds of creation of stitches one can bring on different examples.
